Common questions

I forgot my master password — can you reset it?

No. By design, your master password never reaches our servers, so we have no way to recover or reset it. If you've lost it, the contents of your Safe are unrecoverable. You can sign up again with the same email to start a new (empty) safe.

I'm locked out — too many failed sign-ins.

Wait 15 minutes and try again. The system rate-limits failed sign-in attempts to slow down brute-force attacks. If you're still locked out after an hour, email us.

How do I delete my account?
  1. Sign in at heybesafe.com/safe/.
  2. Open Settings from the navigation menu.
  3. Scroll to Delete account, confirm, and enter your master password to authorise.

If you can't sign in, email support@milcreto.com from the account's email address and we'll process the deletion manually.

Reporting a security issue

Please don't open public issues for security vulnerabilities. Email support@milcreto.com with subject [security] and we'll respond within three business days. We coordinate disclosure timelines on request.
